French Provincial Furniture Set with Dresser and Desk Set of Two (2)
Description: This two-piece French Provincial style furniture set includes a dresser and desk or vanity. The off-white furniture is in the classic French Provincial style with curved faces and hand-painted gold trim. The dresser has nine drawers, and the desk has four. Each drawer has a leaf motif handle, although one is missing on the dresser. History: French Provincial style first appeared in the 18th century. The style came about in areas of France outside Paris, explaining the "provincial" name. The provincial style was often simple in design and much more affordable than the luxurious Rococo style. While less extravagant than the highly gilt and ornate Rococo furniture, French Provincial style retained some of the popular gold and white colors as well as its curved features.

One drawer handle missing and one notable chip on the front edge of the dresser top. The item "French Provincial Furniture Set with Dresser and Desk Set of Two (2)" is in sale since Monday, June 21, 2021.
