These are great double entrance doors that were salvaged from a Philadelphia church. They are made of oak and are painted.
Each door has 3 flat panels framed in flush moldings with corner plinths. The fronts and backs look pretty much the same. The hinges are missing from 1 door. They have great gothic back plates.
Both doors have notches at the upper corners; t. Hey are original to go around corbels at the entry way.
They measure almost 67 inches wide together, 89.25 tall, and 2.25 inches thick. Overall they are in good condition. Scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. The astrigal or divider molding isn't complete. There are wood pieces covering cracks in panels. Wood loss at 1 upper hinge. Please look at the pictures carefully. Please inquire with your zip code and I will get you a quote quickly. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage.
I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. 17 years later this is still my full time job!I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time!
